About The Role

We’re seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and design an intuitive, efficient, and reliable architecture for LocusX’s innovative solution to transform game development workflows. 


Your role will be instrumental in delivering the intelligence and problem-solving automation functions to be seamlessly integrated into a wide range of game design workflows.


You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality full-stack application involving a complete technology stack from server-side logic to user interfaces, with containerized infrastructure and automated delivery pipelines.


The position is full-time and is based in Montreal, Canada. The work model is hybrid. 

About LocusX

In This Role, You Will

  • Design and develop full-stack web applications to track, monitor, and manage AI workloads and algorithms inference in real time.

  • Collaborate with researchers and product owner to translate complex operational needs into intuitive UIs and scalable backends.

  • Build data visualization tools to provide insights into KPI metrics, scheduling and resource allocation.

  • Ensure system security, reliability, and scalability across infrastructure.

  • Participate in all aspect of software development activities including design, coding, code review, unit-testing, integration testing and bug fixing. 

  • Be a key technical voice in the company, helping shape product roadmap and culture

 

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or in STEM discipline and 5+ years of professional experience

  • Significant experience in full-stack development, with expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) and backend technologies (Python, Go, .NET or Node.js).

  • Proven experience developing and delivering user-centric web applications part of a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform 

  • A strong grasp of system architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure

  • Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native application deployment.
